The flight change policy of Sun Country states that although airfares (including add-ons like seat preference and luggage) cannot be reimbursed, they may be changed or cancelled prior to departure with the deduction of applicable change fees. However, changes made at least 60 days before departure are free of charge.

Each passenger and each section of the travel are subject to the changing fees. You are liable for any price difference if your new flight is more expensive. Sun Country Flight Change Policy Due to Illness

Sun Country reserves the right to extend the validity duration of your ticket by up to 30 days past the initial cap if you, a member of your immediate family, or a travelling companion is unable to do so owing to illness or physical disability.

  • Obtain a doctor’s written certification attesting to your disease or inability.

Change Sun Country Flight Process

Flight-Only Booking:

Sun Country Change Fee Waiver

  • Since adjustments or cancellations made 60 days or more before departure are free, the waiver may be used from 59 days up to the last hour before departure.

 Sun Country Flight Change Fee

  • There are no fees for adjustments to flights made at least 60 days before travel.
  • A change fee of USD 36 per segment will be charged for flights changed between 59 and 14 days prior to departure.
  • A change fee of USD 79 per segment will be charged for flights changed between 13 and 0 days prior to departure.
